WATERSKI & WAKEBOARDING

There is nothing more exciting than spending warm, sunny days out on Onota Lake teaching waterski or wakeboarding. If you love the exhilaration of being on the water and the fast pace of coaching, then this is a perfect opportunity for you.

Our Waterski and Wakeboard Instructors provide quality instruction to campers ages 7-15, operating personal watercraft and ski/wakeboard boats safely in accordance with our guidelines. All instructors are also Camp Counselors and have additional cabin and lifeguard responsibilities.

To be a successful Water-ski/Wakeboarding Instructor you will need to be experienced in waterskiing and wakeboarding and have the personality to teach campers. We are hiring boat drivers/instructors and spotters/instructors.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of coaching experience with the ability to demonstrate these skills:

    • Be able to identify and complete risk assessments
    • Work as part of a team to proactively recognize the dangers involved; communication between drivers, spotters and instructors
    • Have a basic understanding of first aid and emergency responses; we will train
    • Boat driving experience preferred, but not required; we will train
    • Leadership skills for boat safety and maintenance
